What MSG and Gluten Can Do to You

Recently my body began changing what it could and couldn't tolerate. At first my Dr. could not tell me what was causing the problem because it was not one certain food group. I just knew when I ate these foods my body reacted violently. Her suggestion was to eliminate foods that affected my body. And write what reactions it caused. So I did that for two weeks. When I returned she said I was suffering from IBS. Then she told me to stop eating the foods which contained MSG. Because MSG isn't on the label , I began researching foods that had MSG, and stopped eating them. Now MSG, is a recognized substitute for salt

For a while things began to get better and I thought I was getting better. Then the reactions started again and back to the Doctor I went. She then suggested I stop eating foods with Gluten. So with that I went back home and began researching Gluten to see what that was. Gluten is a protein found in wheat barley and rye. What stopped me was that a Gluten intolerance can be fatal.

As I continued reading I wanted to know what exactly were the side effects and here is what I found. This intolerance is thought to cause chronic health problems such as joint pain or arthritis type pain, anemia, digestive tract abnormalities, malnutrition and malabsorption disorders and many other difficulties. This intolerance will also have an impact on diseases such as diabetes which the patient may have.

It has been two months since I have been MSG and gluten free and my body is feeling better and I am on the road to recovery.
