We have a President who has little or no experience in public life. We have a background that is filled with hush and suppression. Radicals, revolutionaries, and terrorists have supplied the setting for preparation, and we are not allowed to even question it. A regular, everyday middle class citizen asks a question about what a candidate for President is going to do to his earnings, and he is investigated by a campaign, not even the official law enforcement agencies. A woman finally is nominated and runs for Vice President, she is placed under immense scrutiny and public embarrassment that no candidate has ever suffered under, and many Americans are not even appalled. Digging up the dirt on one party's candidates is encouraged but the other party's is called unfair, racist, and defined as "personal attacks". Meanwhile, a Presidential candidate is even investigated by foreign journalist in Vietnam and it is declared that he is a liar, and his former prison guard, a communist servant, is believed. One party is tied to a financial crisis because the overwhelming truth is that its members have profited considerably from the collapse of an entire industry, and few ask if anyone is to be put in jail for it.
A presidential candidate constantly denies knowledge or associations with several questionable individuals, including a fire-breathing White and anti-semitic reverend, a bomb-toting and murdering terrorist, and several questionable and corrupt individuals but since he is of the media-favored political party, he is not questioned or doubted. The same candidate says things about being a socialist, wanting to bankrupt an entire industry, wishing for gas, oil and coal prices to skyrocket, causing great suffering of American citizens trying to make it financially, wanting to pull out of Iraq before the job is completed, desiring and planning to cut the defense budget by billions in a time when terrorists are just aching to get back to work, and the desire to take money from successful people and give it all to people who have done nothing and not even paid taxes. The stockmarket is falling and few people are correlating it to the newly elected candidate and his plans to stop business in its tracks. Can I wonder if we have gone insane?
I have seen a huge number of people mesmerized by words and manipulated phrases. I have followed and researched things about people that I never suspected I would do. And it all has mystified me.
The entire process comes down to one thing, one simple point: power. To win power is to control what the future will bring. This election was all about that, but it proved to be something more. The truth does not matter any more. Not one bit of it.
We began the process with hope that we could somehow and in some way find a presidential candidate who could scrap the old, partisan and harmful ways of the past. Without proof, we saw our hope go down the drain. We have placed ourselves in a dangerous position because we wished or "willed" the election to be about correcting past wrongs. Some are saying that the election was about change, about White America feeling guilty about past wrongs done to so many of its "minority' citizens, against their will and against all morality. What we failed to realize is that even so, the individual that had to be placed into the maelstrom of political power had to be someone who could carry on the American way without trampling the Constitution into the ground. Alas, the Constitution of the United States? Think abou what has happened and what is about to happen?
The first amendment has been literally destroyed. The so-called "Fairness Doctrine" is being threatened to us by those on the winning side. What is the fairness doctrine but a piece of legislation that is determined to shut down opposition to liberal ideas? The reason why this opposition exists is because half, or more than half, of the country has been documented as being more "conservative" than "liberal". The statistics show and prove this. So if you shut down this conservative media, then are you not shutting down "free speech"? After all, is it not the right of every individual to listen to or read it or not? That is free speech as is written in the Constitution. Also, the obvious and flagrant media bias that exists for one party and not the other is a violation of the journalistic oath. Unless journalism doesn't exist or matter any more? I myself have sworn off the three networks, many of the oldest newspapers and magazines, and especially have decided not even to visit the corrupt and liberally biased websites. It is the least I can do to explore the truth rather than the manufactured lie.
The second amendment is the most obvious to be soon assaulted. Many liberals who own guns will be utterly shocked when their government passes legislation that not only makes gun ownership unlawful, but makes it illegal to even manufacture such as weapon. Impossible? Then go and look at earlier statements made by the President-elect and see for yourself. He has undeniably said so. But then again, if you have been in the hypnotic transe of the last twenty months you won't believe what you read or hear from the actual recordings of such statements.
Finally, the fourth article of the original Constitution itself that talks about being allowed to vote, and the scheduling of such affairs. With organizations like Acorn, will we be able to trust our vote in the future? I heard with my own ears the stories of people who said they were getting in line to vote more than once. I heard the stories and read the email about the people who admitted that they were signing up the dead to vote, citizens of one state to vote again in another, and how one man even was signed up to vote 71 times. Is this the America we have become? And Acorn JUSTIFIED all of this! If you read some Kar Marx and do some research about history, you find that voter fraud is one of the main tools to overthrow free, democratic societies. Just think about it.
In this election I heard children singing praise songs, I heard young paramilitary men chanting, I heard people talking about not ever having to pay for their mortgage or their gas in their car again, I heard voters being called guntoters and bible worshippers, and Rednecks and racists. And many of these people ignored the insults and voted for the very people who called them these things. I heard a candidate say, openly, that he planned to "spread the wealth" and raise taxes. I heard people say that the very words of their candidate did not matter, even though they were written in stone. And I heard the word "change" used over and over, even though no one ever cared to define what that change would be. No one!
When the time comes and our country collapses, I hope that some will be able to admit they were wrong. I will argue the benefits of conservativism over liberalism any day, and it will make sense because, as a matter of history and fact, liberalism has never, and will never, work. The history books are filled with the remnants of liberal policy, liberal politics, and liberal rationale. And what we are going to face in the next few years is more than just liberalism; it is "radical liberalism", and we get what we deserve. Read some of the great historical works of the Twentieth Century and you will see the parallels. Taylor, Shirer, Leckie and others, who have warned us of the consequences of ignoring history. The fear and fate of one party rule in a country where power is unlimited. Heed the words of a famous Soviet ruler who said something to the effect that "Americans are naive, and they will be fed small morsels of socialism" until one day they wake up and find they have become communists. We are on the brink, and many of you are to blame.
Welcome, comrade, to the modern era!

Post a CommentGreat piece James. I loved it all. And don't ya just love when little kids are coached to sing songs in praise of our new Messiah? It's deja vu all over again, and for those of you who are clueless to my reference, children in school sang songs about Hitler, and kids in North Korea sing about their Messiah, the pot bellied dog eater himself! Don't they sing about how Kim Jong played his first round of golf and scored 18 holes in one? Look out Tiger Woods, there's a pot bellied Messiah looking to put you outta work. LOL. Nice James, very nicely done.
