What Not to Tell Him on Messenger

andra picincu
We live in the Internet age, and particularly in the era of Yahoo messenger. We talk everything to everyone, we communicate, we fall in love and we love with passion the conversation we have on YM, MSN, and Skype etc. But...what shouldn't be told on messenger?

If we spend so much time connected to the messenger, we should have a guide of conduct in virtual discussions. Your relationship can be affected because of an ordinary online chat.

So, take your emoticons with you and listen carefully the following tips!

You got home from the office it is pretty late and you're not in the mood to go out with your friends. You're opening your messenger list and see your boyfriend there, online, so you say "hi" to him with a sweet kiss and a hug and start to chat; all good so far. You can tell him everything you want (almost everything), but there are some things that shouldn't be brought in discussion.

10. "What is wrong?"

Most likely everything is fine. It is possible that the situation to be misinterpreted. If you really have reasons to believe that something is wrong, then it's better to call him than to ask him on messenger.

9. "LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Maybe this is the way in which we express the amusement, but...it is not the best way to tell your boyfriend that he was funny. It seems rather a roar than a smile.

8. "I think we should break up!"

No, you are not allowed to break up on Yahoo Messenger, MSN, Skype, OVO and many other platforms! It's neither elegant nor practical! After all, you will meet in the end with that person! (This if he doesn't live in Nigeria, being your virtual boyfriend)

7. "Hey! Where have you gone?"

Hmmm, maybe he needed to go to the bathroom or he answered to the phone or he went to get something to drink...there are so many possibilities that I don't see the point of this question! If it's about something important, he will tell you. Calm down, he doesn't cheat you while talking with you on the mess (I think).

6. "Whatever"

Well, if you don't care, then why are you talking with him on the messenger? If he's uninteresting, then search for the "Ignore" button and fix the problem. Be efficient, my dear!

5. "Angry" emoticon

The aggressiveness is already present in real life, why should we pollute the virtual space? Aren't enough for you all the hysterical from TV, do you really want to be one of them on messenger?

4. "OMG!!!!!"

Hmm, if this is so serious, then shouldn't you be in a swoon until now? Do you imagine how would look like an "OMG" in real life?

3. Free sarcasm

As aggressiveness, the sarcasm catches wings on the Internet. It seems that everyone is cool there and ready to be more ironical. Don't you want to behave normally?

2. "Fine"

"Fine" is never fine, it's rather "you could do more, but you don't and I accept because I hope that one day you'll do more." I know that the second part is more difficult to write ... but better for your relationship.

1. "We need to talk ..."

Well ... aren't you doing this already? Make an appointment by phone if necessary, before telling him that you want to talk although you already talk with him. Isn't it?

Kiss you, www and SMS!

breaking up on yahoo is the tradtional dear jane or dear john letter that coward's write because they cannot face the person to tell them how they feel, it also makes it more permanent because the person cannot express their position the decision has been made by one person alone
