What to Aviod This Coming Valentines Day

Valentine is that special day where everyone focuses on that special some one for the day. It is a day that we celebrate our relationships with people. It is also a day of high expectations and where there are high expectations there can also be huge let downs. Here are some things to avoid on that special day.

Don't make it the only special day of the year for that certain person. Make sure that you are making everyday possible special for that certain someone. You don't need to do something huge and extravagant everyday, but just make them feel special. Days like Valentines and anniversaries are days for the big huge romantic stuff.

Flowers alone probably won't cut it. Flowers alone say that you where not willing enough to put any thought into something really special so all you got were flowers. Flowers are very nice if they go along with something. They also work as little surprises while that certain someone is at work or where ever they may be that day. After the flowers follow up with something good, like a romantic candle lit dinner or something like that.

Don't be corny. The last thing that your special someone wants to do that day is feel stupid. If you're certain someone doesn't do well with embarrassment then find other ways to secretly show your affection. Like maybe the flowers at work idea is a bad one. Wait until you are alone to do something romantic. Don't plan.

Don't let them know what is coming. A lot of romantic actions come as a surprise. Don't plan your day with them. When they ask what the plans are for Valentines just tell them "You will see."

Don't plan it for you. They day is for that someone else. Don't be selfish. What does you're certain someone like. Plan your day around it. Make sure that they are happy. For dinner eat what they won't. Surprises are the absolute best when you surprise them with something that they like. A surprising romantic candle lit dinner at the finest steak house in town is probably not a good idea if that certain someone is not a big steak person.

Don't dream up some huge romantic perfect day with your certain someone, because their plans might not match yours. Your special someone might not even be the romantic type, but if that is who you love then sit back and enjoy what ever they have in store. There is nothing more satisfying and pleasing than knowing what you plans made someone happy. That person is trying their hardest to please you and if they see that you didn't enjoy it then that might make them feel unhappy. It is all about the other person. If each of you are trying your hardest to make the other happy then there is no way that you could fail.

It all comes down to not being selfish. If you are focusing that special someone and making them feel happy then the day should be just right.
