Well, I'm no professional and I know nothing about psychology, but I can however, tell you that I've had dreams where I honestly feel I'm awake. In some cases I wake up and feel that my dream was an actual part of my life. Now, why do we have dreams like these? Do they mean anything to us or is it just our imagination. There are many explations. We have the scientific explanation of doctors and professionals that make a living out of interpreting dreams that people have. We also have religion and how that relates to dreams. They might be omens or signs of something that may occur in life.
In any case, dreams let you escape from your reality and they allow you to do anything you set your mind to. For example, you may be able to flying around the world, you can stop a bullet or even predict the future. Why is it that our minds make up these visions and stories in our sleep and make it so realistic? Like I said, I have no answers for you, I'm just a person who has those dreams too.
I am a Christian and I have yet to have a dream about anything relating to my religion. I have not had a dream about Christianity since I accept Jesus as my Savior. I haven't had any nightmares. Now, I don't know if that has anything to do with my religion or if my mind is just merely not thinking about dreams in that way yet. In the future I may have an experience in my dreams that I would like to testify about but until that day I will continue to sleep, dream and question the meaning of the dreams.
I just want to leave you with the questions that I have asked in this article. I want you to ask yourself the things that I've asked myself. Maybe you have a better explanation than I do. Maybe you won't have an explination at all and think that I'm crazy. In any case, we will always have dreams. Keep dreaming and let your imagination take you places you've never been!
