However, socialism is a system that is most closely related to the idea of move away from private property in order to have a societal Utopia. This system is based on an idea trying to use technology and other advancements to increase the well being of society as a whole. It was derived in 1877 through Karl Marx, a German writer, explaining that capitalism is not a perfect system because it exploits others. This system most reflected in using nationalization is the communist system.
The underlying economic foundation of communism is one that focuses on an economic system of controls called the command system. The people in command on this system tend to be government employees and politicians focused on the government having control over the economy, allowing no private property, and for the good of the government. The government owns everything and equally disperses wages among other things for the good of the government. Communism is most closely related to this term.
Therefore, nationalization most closely relates to communism. It is not to be confused with socialism despite the similarities. The word is associated with a command system approach economically. However, this term is not exclusive to the communism. Economics shows that, in communism, there is some form of private business; in capitalism, there is some form of government control. A good example would be the French control of power plants and electricity or US law enforcement and business regulations. Communism, once again is most related to the term of nationalization.
