What is a Psychic Prophet?

A psychic prophet is a new term that describes a person that feels that they are both a psychic and a prophet. If you look in a dictionary, the word prophet and psychic almost mean the same exact things. A psychic is someone that can be a believer in Jesus Christ or another faith. A prophet is more associated to belong to a main stream religion such as Christianity, Islam or Judaism. You may associate yourself best with the word psychic if you are not part of any particular religion. Sometimes you have to ask yourself what you personally believe in.

Years ago, if you would have told others that you were a psychic, they may have assumed that you were a witch or someone that did not believe in Christianity or any other faith. The truth of the matter is that you have to understand that a psychic comes from various backgrounds and they all believe and teach different things. We are living in changing times and not every psychic considers them to be a witch or someone that practices witchcraft. You have to understand that if a psychic tells you that they are a witch, then they are studying or have studied spells, potions and other things that describe a witch and witchcraft. You must understand that this is a specialized skill that requires a great deal of study and proven ability. Not everyone that tells you that they are a witch actually is.

Another type of psychic is one who believes that they are a clairvoyant psychic. Famous psychics like Sylvia Browne are considered to be clairvoyant psychics because they often use their third eye and sixth sense to do a psychic reading. They do not use any type of psychic reading tool such as a tarot card or a crystal ball. If you were her on the Montel Williams show, you will see her using her third eye to conduct a psychic reading. She will often look up and around when she does her psychic readings. This is known as a clairvoyant psychic reading.

A psychic prophet is someone that considers themselves a prophet of a particular faith and a psychic because they are saying that they acknowledge their particular faith and they are also saying that they work as a psychic. The psychic reading is someone's particular job. They are actually making a living at being a psychic or they can even be giving free psychic readings to their clients and customers. The psychic reading is an extremely difficult type of reading because it involves you using all of your psychic abilities as well as your prophetic abilities. Both are really the same thing when you come down to it. Prophets use their sixth sense and their third eye to give prophetic readings just as a psychic does. The only difference is that a prophet says that they are receiving the word from the Lord and the psychic says that they are receiving the word from the Lord or from a spirit guide. Either way, neither the psychic nor the prophet is actually talking to God personally. It is all seen through their intuition or a dream or vision.
