What Question?

What Question?
The Pilgrims settled here in the years from 1620 to 1630. The Articles of Confederation were established in 1781. The Declaration of Independence was written in 1776. The Constitution was signed in September 1787. The Jewish and Christian people used the words of the Ten Commandments to live by. They stand for religious and ethical codes from the Pilgrims days to the present day. They are listed in Exodus 20: 2-17. This is a religious right that our forefathers were thankful for. They were thankful to be able to call on God's help. The men who signed the Constitution were Christian men.
The United States Flag was originally made up of 13 stripes and 13 stars in 1776. The flag meant Independence from Britian. The colors on the flag are the same colors of the Great Seal of the United States. Do you know what the colors mean? Red stands for hardness and valor. White stands for purity and innocence. Blue stands for vigilance, perserverance, and justice.
Now today in 2007 several Representatives of our government voted against English being our nations Language. How can they look themselves in the mirror? This is not a question. They need to ask the people who voted them into office, if they think that is sufficient. If your not for America, then you must be against it. Many of our sons and daughters have fought in many wars for our freedom and English nation. The Representatives who voted against Christianity and English should be voted out of office. Today in our society people fear the ACLU more than they fear God. This is scarry. God is a jealous God. The ACLU is going to every state and telling them that it is unlawful to pray. This is a religious right that our forefathers were thankful for. They were thankful to be able to call on God's help.
I was born in 1964 to an American speaking mother and father. This is a slap in the face to Americans. Our ancestors lived through many wars to keep it an English speaking nation. It is disgraceful to even think of changing this to another speaking nation. My grandparents would never believe that this subject of language would ever come up.
This is an example of the American frustration that we face:
I was looking for Dixie Classic Fair coupons, as we entered Burger King. The lady at the counter looked at me in surprise, as I asked about the coupons. She told me that the coupons were $1.00 each. I asked to look at the coupons because, the Internet said that they were suppose to be free. The lady at the counter did not want to show me the coupons. Finally, the lady showed me a booklet that had Burger King coupons in it. The booklet was $10.00. I shook my head and told her, "No." That is not what I needed. The Manager was standing next to the lady and they both laughed at me. Neither one of them knew English. Both of them pointed to the coupon holder on the wall in the restuarant. I walked over to the holder and there were Carowinds and Emerald Pointe coupons there. I looked back at the lady and Manager. Without wasting my breath, I left the restuarant. I believe in people coming her from other countries but, they could at least learn English.

People call US citizens "racists" when we point out that it is ignorant to move to an English speaking country and demand the citizens speak Spanish. How about they move to France or Kenya and make the same demands. It is too sad that people born and raised speaking English are now being discrimated against in getting jobs in the USA because they can not speak Spanish. Sad that our elected officials are favoring one group of immigrants, a large portion of who entered the country by bypassing immigration laws.

"American speaking"? The majority of countries on the American continents speak some form of a Latin language. Canada and the United States are two that speak English. Canadains speak more of a proper "Queens English" then we do in the USA. Canada also has two national langauges (French and English). The La Rasa's demand 5 or so years ago that the USA government declare Spanish our nation's National Language is what started all this mess. Every group of immigrants that came to make the USA their home, learned to speak English.
