As children, we fear our parents. As young adults, we fear our peers. As adults we fear society, and as mature adults we fear death.
But why do we fear death? Is it the unknown?
Perhaps it is the uncertainty of whether heaven and hell, as we have been taught, actually exists? So many unanswered questions.
Do we secretly fear that during the course of our lives, our actions and personal or moral conduct has already determined our salvation or damnation? Is the life after, a conscious one?
We will be aware of and come to know eternal peace, or will we endure pain?
Only in our after life will we know, if our own beliefs and practices has secured our place, on the right hand side of our Father.
