What Really Stops Us from Creating Abundance in Our Lives?

Jim Sinclair
Our past thoughts have created what and where we are now, and what we are thinking about this moment will continue to create our lives in the future. Combining our thoughts, visualizations, emotions and effort, we do indeed have the ability to bring about into our lives all of our greatest hopes and desires. This is a known fact.

Unfortunately, many people have personal issues within themselves that hold back these creative processes that can bring to them all of their dreams and desires. Thinking abundantly, whether it be about money, health, events, material objects, etc, are all brought about by the continuous thoughts of the mind.

By remaining steadfast with positive thoughts, the manifestations that appear can be nothing short of miraculous.

However, if the slightest doubt and negativity enters into the mind, not only can it derail this process, but it will manifest the negative results as well.

And for many of us, this is exactly where the problem begins.

As human beings, we use this hidden and magical power everyday in our lives, whether we're aware of it or not. Those who know of this magical force can bring about things in their lives so extraordinary, that sometimes the results amaze even themselves. Those who don't use this secret force may either have no interest in it's awesome power, or have been disappointed with past attempts.

In either case, one constant fact that remains which has been proven time and time again, is that the type of lives we live are in direct proportion to our thinking.

Our biggest reason for failure is ourselves. If we can't first believe within our own minds of what we can or can't do, then positive manifestations will become non-existent. It's one thing to work on bringing about desires, but it's a completely different thing having to constantly fight ourselves while creating them. By taking a look at any one of the personal issues that hinder us, we can ask ourselves, 'where is this coming from?'

In almost all instances, a great deal of the daily problems that we fight within ourselves, were for the most part, created by our piers and or experiences of life when we were children. Although many times their intentions were good, many adults didn't know or realize the harm that was being done, but nonetheless, we as children were extremely vulnerable to what was being said.

When little Johnny was a child in grade school for example, he was brought up with the repeated scolding and criticism from his parents that he would never amount to anything. Before long, he believed every bit of it. Despite how hard he tried in school, he always received poor grades and was never good at sports, or anything else that he had attempted.

Today, he is totally convinced that his childhood programming is responsible for his failed marriages, his inability to excel at his job, and overall, was the blame for the complete failure in every department of his life. It was when he was in his mid fifties, that he realized that he no longer wanted to continue living a chaotic and non-productive lifestyle. He definitely knew that something was missing, but he couldn't quite figure out what the problem was, much less how to change it for the better.

It was through the help of a friend that he realized that by always being in his own, self sabotaging way, he was his own worst enemy. He also discovered that, sure enough, it was his lifetime of negative, doubtful thinking that was the main cause of all of his past failures.

Excited with such wonderful, life liberating news, he then set out to discover for himself the many different self help books and programs available that were designed specifically in helping him to overcome his imposed fears and doubts. In hardly no time at all, Johnny now understands and uses the magical and magnificent power of the subconscious mind to create and bring about into his life the things that he had never before dreamed possible.
