Reflexology is an amazing therapy listed under Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM). It is a magical, simple, easy and safe approach to enjoying a robust, healthy life and glowing beauty. The basic principle of reflexology is that the body is controlled by an energy source or electrical system. All the organs, glands and nerves in the body have specific nerve endings that begins and ends in the hands and feet. When the electrical lines are blocked the organs and glands mal-function causing diseases.

Massaging the specific reflex to the specific organ opens up the blockage which improves circulation, oxygen and nutrition to the area. In addition it stimulates the flow of the lymphatic system whose role is to purify the body, remove toxins, and lubricate the muscles. The organ can then function to it's optimum and return your body to perfect health. There are reflexology charts that depict the corresponding areas of the hands and feet that correspond with the specific organs and gland.

Years ago there were no research studies to validate the effectiveness of reflexology. Today there are over 300 studies from all over the world that have been done regarding various diseases. Visit Reflexology Research Studies for results on conditions such as birthing, breasts, hysterectomy, menopause, menstruation, diabetes and more.
