Dentists in the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth countries have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. Certain dentists also train for more number of years, sometimes in other countries to obtain better skills.

In just a matter of a few decades, the field of dentistry has become very large. Today, the patient has a number of options when it comes to dental procedures.
