What the Scripture Say About Correction!

Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. Job 5:17

He makes them listen to correction and commands them to repent of their evil. Job 36:10

For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way to life. Proverbs 6:23

Whoever corrects a mocker invites insult; whoever rebukes a wicked man incurs abuse. Proverbs 9:7

He who heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray. Proverbs 10:17

She obeys no one, she accepts no correction. She does not trust in the LORD, she does not draw near to her God. Zephaniah 3:2

A servant cannot be corrected by mere words; though he understands, he will not respond. Proverbs 29:19

The rod of correction imparts wisdom, but a child left to himself disgraces his mother. Proverbs 29:15

He who ignores discipline despises himself, but whoever heeds correction gains understanding. Proverbs 15:32

A mocker resents correction; he will not consult the wise. Proverbs 15:12

A fool spurns his father's discipline, but whoever heeds correction shows prudence. Proverbs 15:5

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16

Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage?with great patience and careful instruction. 2 Timothy 4:2

    I thank God that He disciplines me...for what good Father does not discipline his children because this is love. Nicely done here.
