What Secrets Did Kurt Warner Reveal on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live?'
What Did Former Quarterback Kurt Warner Divulge on the Jimmy Kimmel Show?
As fans of football and dancing are aware, former NFL superstar Kurt Warner traded his football cleats for dancing shoes for Season 11 of ABC's hit show "Dancing with the Stars." Warner's only moves besides a little two-stepping with his wife came from the football field, so the athlete was considered somewhat of an underdog on the dance floor.

The judges went back and forth on Warner's performances--for every great week he had, the next week would see low scores as the judges alternately complimented him on his natural grace and penalized him for his "frying pan hands." Warner made it through the 200th episode of "Dancing with the Stars" but finally in week 8 Kurt Warner was eliminated and had to pay the price by appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel had Kurt Warner and his partner Anna Trebunskaya on his program following Warner's departure from "Dancing with the Stars" to talk about his time on the reality series and to see what secrets Warner would reveal. Kimmel admitted before the series started, he had almost selected Warner as his favorite to win the show before picking Jennifer Grey.
Kurt Warner From Two-Stepping to the Ballroom
Commenting on the long hours and commitment Warner put into the show, Anna Trebunskaya said, "Now he finally gets to sleep and see his family." Warner divulged that it was his wife who set him out to learn how to dance after he retired from football, as he laughingly added, "I don't know what that says." Warner revealed he met his wife out two stepping in a country bar with "no sequins." He said his wife envisioned them both taking dancing lessons and being able to gracefully move around the dance floor at some function or one of their daughters' weddings, but noted that recently when he came home from one of his dancing sessions she stated, "We're never going dancing, are we."
Jimmy Kimmel tried several times to get Warner to say something negative about Bristol Palin and the Tea Party, but Warner was quick on his toes to sidestep every attempt. Kimmel's one funny effort was joking about Warner's football career, commenting, "Instead of the Steelers, you were stopped by Bristol Palin."
Kurt Warner on Sequins & Jennifer Grey
Kimmel wasn't the only one cracking jokes as Warner laughed at his own expense about trading in his football uniform for sequins and bright colors and then compared his dancing to one of Season 11's favorites, Jennifer Grey, joking, "We were very comparable in our dance styles."
Kurt Warner "I Didn't Enter to Win"
Warner said he had been watching the Cardinals play and had a lot of buddies on the team, but acknowledged his time to play football was done and divulged he had been ready to leave while his knees were still OK. "I can still dance," he pointed out. However, he admitted that although he was a very competitive guy, he was "not so much" about dancing. Noting that he knew from the beginning he had far less dance experience than most of the other competitors, Warner explained, "I didn't enter to win. You go into it for other reasons, to build relationships, to try something different, and to have a little fun along the way."
Kurt Warner - Gentleman & "American Idol"
Kurt Warner brought a great deal of fun and charisma to the dance floor. His positive attitude shone through each week, whether he earned high marks or low, and judge Bruno Tonioli pointed out that in losing Warner, "Dancing with the Stars" had lost a true gentleman and a "real 'American Idol.'"
