Evanston/Chicago, IL 60202
United States of America
February, is kind of quite, it's uselly below zero temperture outside with some snow, around this time of the year in Chicago but, that never stop us from celebrating any of our holidays. also it's foodball season and many like to stay inside with a beer,or some good food and have some firends over and just enjoy the football games or some wrestling, boxing, and even some basketball games to. On the 14th we celebrate Valentine Day's at home or some may go out to places like Red Lobster, Apple Bee, The Olive Garden. Mostly our town is pretty quite until another holiday roll around in March, there is a big prade downtown Chicago in honor of St. Patrick's Day,for that celebration we uselly color the chicago river green in honor of St. Patrick's Day, also you can find a lot of our restraunts serving Corn Beef and Cabages. Than the next holiday is May Memorial Day where we do a lot of barbecuing, and also there's a parade that marches through our downtown aera and also on Central Street in Evanston, IL.
On the days when there's no holidays people just enjoy shopping at the Mall and all over town from Jewel Foods to Old Navy,Target wherever they like to shop, there's no certain place just wherever the sales and discounts, and bargins are found. On other days they like to walk to the beach, and around the neighood some are walking their pets watching them play in the parks with other animals. In our town the residents just like to be safe and have a laid back kind of lifestyle enjoying all the restraunts with family and friends, you will see a lot of Evanstonian going to see movies as well. We have a pretty safe neigberhood and like to keep it that way. Everyone mind there on business but, if a tragic occur we all pull together to try and fix it. So, Evanston, IL is really a quite layed back city, and when the holidays come everyone is putting on some kind of celebration. What I see in my town is a lot of shopping and eating at different restraunt's throughout the city. If we want to have more excitement we will go to the city Chicago, IL which is right next door to Evanston,Chicago is a city and Evanston is a Suburb, so when we want more things to do we go downtown Chicago in the Loop where you can enjoy more fun and activies like the carriage ride, with a horse and bugy a (carriage ride),it's a romantic ride threw the city, we also have tour buses that will take you all around Chicago to see all the sites. You can ride around Chicago to see the sites even at night on the carriage ride,if you ride at night you can see all the beautiful light in the city. Around Evanston you'll pretty much see people just out and about, walking, running, moeing or watering their lawn, walking their dogs, riding their bikes, and enjoying their lives. And that's pretty much what it's like in Evanston, IL So, unless it's one of our holidays,we just lead a normal peaceful life.
