To him, she was appealing.
She set his heart to reeling.
What he hadn't seen,
Was a heart that's so mean,
It blinded her from feeling.

    There's a lot of people like that, unfortunately. Those of us who are injuriously blind to the selfish and cold who would do us harm, and those who only in life for themselves, no matter who they trample or who's heart is broken. Love the limerick!
