What Do You See when You Look at Me?

This is Me

cathiesblogs
A face that show a life filled with doubt,
that shout!
....My Insecurities

Did you notice my stature?
Rather short, though slim
Is this what you see?

or, My hands, with such long
fingers, though...not elegant,
more bony with veins
that protrude.

Maybe my mannerism...seems
Distant..Rather shy or Immature?
I agree....

But...My heart is tender, Vulnerable
this you can't see...But still
This is Me!

I count it a privilege to "see" your tender heart. That's what is so wonderful about AC - we get to know one another by the works we write and comments we share. I like the way you relate your physical features to what is inside of you. I see a woman who has compassion (face), who is elegant, yet humble (stature), has worked hard, (hands), and is a real ladyl (mannerisms)! Thank you for letting us "see" you! God bless!

I'm not sure if I read this one already, but I like it. Great job! I agree with others. Even if we can't see you heart, it shows through in your work. :-)

I was curious to know more about you-- and well you kinda put it into prespective. Now all I can say is, dont stop --continue on.......

When you meet a person, first you see the outside. But once you get to know a person you see what really counts, the inside. Great poem.

Reading this lovely poem I see what is beyond physical; i.e. a fine artist of life! :-)
