The presence of immaculately clean beaches and astounding splendid scenic tourist spots make Saint Lucia a paragon of tourism. It offers the best environment for loosening up. Essentially, those who want to have a feel of nature simply find Saint Lucia irresistible.

While holidaying in Saint Lucia, you are afforded the opportunity to see lots of species of animals in their natural habitat. Partisans of wildlife come over time and again to appreciate the beauty of nature.

The oldest town in Saint Lucia is named Soufriere. It sounds French because it was christened by them due to the air around Soufriere. The Soufriere volcano is located within this town and this gives the air around it a distinct smell of sulfur always. The presence of rich and productive land all around this town ensures it retains a shade of green always. This beautifies the environment and attracts people from all over.

While being at Soufriere is an experience on its own, driving there provides something different. It can be linked from Castries by simply driving down the road leading to Soufriere. The singularity of the town and its environs, principally due to the presence of the volcano and the smell of sulfur can be felt first-hand all the way through to the town. It always feels great to have the experience again and again.

Also, close to the volcano is the Diamond Falls. Nature strangely deposited loads of minerals in the waters that flow here. The alterative qualities of the minerals found in the water are really strange and amazing. It also has a funny history with it being the former bathing place of the French king in the days past. Green, natural gardens form a lovely fence around the Diamond falls. Description by the word "breathtaking" could well be an understatement.

Bird watchers do troop to the Island of Fregate offshore of Saint Lucia. Uncommon species of the Class Aves are found in numbers here. Just a simple glance at these creatures makes the whole experience worth it.

Another major point where tourists gather to enjoy themselves is the Pigeon Island National Park. The location of this island in an area dominated by mountains and a couple of historically relevant sites does the trick. The museum on the island completes the puzzle by offering all of the history in full.

Families and couples are gradually warming to Saint Lucia and the presence of holiday home rentals at affordable prices makes the place attractive to tourists. The apartments provide something different from whatever part of the world you are planning to visit from. Come over to Saint Lucia and feel nature at its awe-inspiring best.
