Recently if you remember, there had been a lot of interest in this particular topic, with the interest a lot of blogs and definitions sprang up with the term 'Sherm Stick' associated with them.
Maybe it is the fact that suddenly it was a volcanic search topic within Google's search engine not so long back.
I must have had Sherm Sick at some point, because I cannot remember for the life of me why it was so popular and still has a residual trail on the web!
Sherm stick is used by substance abusers for its hallucinogenic properties. They do this by way of a cannabis joint or ordinary cigarette that has been lightly soaked or dipped into PCP (phencyclidine) which is then smoked to get the associated high.
The reason a lot of people who use 'Sherm Stick' say that it is dipped in embalming fluid is because of the way the substance numbs the body to which is referred as being in a 'dead like' state.
It is not dipped in real embalming fluid or formaldehyde as some people think.
As for the effects of smoking 'Sherm Stick' it does not sound too appealing as apparently you may feel the urge to wander around in an aimless fashion looking a little like you have just been hit by a baseball bat in the face. I don't see the appeal in that!
Apparently a cigarette that is a 'Sherm Stick' will set you back around $10.00 on the streets of Los Angeles.
You money would be better spent on something like, a new tee-shirt or $10.00 in gas for your car maybe even your friends car.
What ever your choice or feelings regarding drugs, 'Sherm Stick' sound a little whacked out, probably like its users. Definitely something you should steer completely clear of kiddies!
You won't see drug use condoned on these pages as it seems some of the other blogs I have run into on my quest for more information.
I must admit it is the first time I have run into the words 'Sherm Stick' on my travels, and I'm pretty much glad that I have been blind to it.
The only things I can truly say positive about 'Sherm Stick' is that I have learned something new to avoid and to look out for signs of with friends or family.
I wouldn't want to have Sunday dinner while watching my grandfather keel over in his chair completely blitzed out after smoking 'Sherm Stick' as funny as it sounds.
Remember drugs are bad for you except those that make you feel better when prescribed by your doctor. Even those are bad for you if they are abused, so think on and don't have nightmares.
