"Internet Policing" is something, personally, I cannot stand! You are bossed around at home, at work, and is there really a place you can go and not be bothered? Please, do not take me to be a whiner, but I get to angry when little kids online who have a web site think they have the power to rule your life. Not only kids, adults too. Some people are just so power-greedy that they find all little places to obtain satisfaction. To this day, I do not think there is ONE general place in which I can go to just hang out, or relax, instead of having someone breathing over my back reminding me of their rules and regulations.
There is no one who actually monitors your Internet use and tells you of the rules of the Internet. There are no sole creators of the Internet that chose to control it and maintain it with expectations and rules. So, in this article... I am going to go on a personal "investigation" and research the different aspects of this issue. Once again, please do not think I am a whiner of any sort, I am just really fed up, as I know many people are, with some of the web site rules on the Internet.
Mission 1: Recognize The Problem
Problem recognized. Harsh "laws", and strict rules prevent Internet users from expressing themselves, and retain them from "being who they are". What does that mean? Well, the consequences that some along with those broken rules are sometimes harsh, and unruly. This may prevent some Internet users from really being who they are, because they are worried if they say the wrong thing, action will be taken.
Mission 2: Figure Out A Solution
Well, most users are unhappy because of the rules they are being covered by when they log onto the Internet. These rules are, for the most part, not set by your Internet Service Provider or Internet Carrier. These rules are set by web site owners who wish to control everything and everyone on their web pages. There may not be several options to solve this issue. However, some of these tips may help.
1. Try to reason with the website owner. E-mail the owner and just express your predicament, and issue. Tell them how you, and other users feel about what he/she is doing. 99% of the time, the owner will make IMMEDIATE changes, because they would be in risk of losing possible visitors or customers. If the owner doen't respond, or does not care about the matter at hand, more action must be taken.
2. Threaten the web site stats! Now, don't be too hard on them. I would recommend e-mailing the owner again, and tell him that if he does not make changes, he WILL start losing visitors to his website. Talk with other users, and ask them to join you in your mission to lighten Internet rules, and if that web site does not change, then some visitors might need to find new websites.
3, Make a website! To spread your mission to the public, and to a lot more people, make a free website! They are quick and easy to make, and most are free! Post your mission, what your goal is, and a place for other users to communicate. This will allow a gateway between you and your users. Take advice from them, and use it to your advantage.
Mission 3: Initiate your plans!
Start putting your plans into action! Use the above plans, or make your own! Put them to work! Post in forums, or chat rooms! Together, we can OVERRULE the "tyrants"!
