What a Storm! Blizzard's New MMORPG

..what a storm! ..a huge storm! Is Blizzard Entertainment on the way to create a new, "next-generation" MMORPG which will replace the current World of Warcraft? Those who work behind the scenes in Blizzard Entertainment, people such as Mike Morhaime, kept our interest high enough telling us about their new "under construction MMORPG projects" making Blizzard fans go crazy!

Battles between heaven and hell, as job requests are getting hot on Blizzard Entertainment's website, showing that there is much more to see, much more to come, convincing that even a greater MMORPG will be out to public soon enough that will make it the best and hottest game in history! A few weeks ago a Blizzard Entertainment representative revealed to public that a "next-gen MMORPG" is under construction, making fans wonder what could possibly be as there are too many scenarios to start from.

Blizzard Entertainment has three very powerful franchises: StarCraft, Diablo, and Warcaft. The last of the three became exhausted after the release of World of Warcraft (and lets not forget that the "Wrath of the Lich King" is about to come). About the first franchise, StarCraft, in the 2007 Blizzard Worldwide Invitational, which took place in Seoul, Blizzard announced the game StarCraft II creating a delerium to the fans of this game series. I had the luck to be present at this event, and I don't remember anybody announce that there will be a MMORPG created from the StarCraft series, personaly I hardly believe that even the "next-gen MMORPG" which Blizzard announced will relate to StarCraft, the reason I believe this is because of the new StarCraft II release. So, there we have Diablo...!

Diablo has a unique style. Diablo has it all, a new MMORPG can be based on such a game. It is written on a great script with great scenarios in which the new MMORPG can depend on. It has great mechanics which can be inserted with ease in a MMORPG, it is a hack & slash game and has great audiance! Allow me to say that I will also put this game on the "not going to happen" list. Diablo is not what Blizzard Entertainment is looking for nowadays. I don't know about your opinion, but a MMORPG based on Diablo will not succeed! So what else is out there? The answer is monolectic my friends: Activision!

Just a few days ago was officialy announced the deal between Blizzard Entertainment and Activision, the greatest deal ever made in history in the videogames industry! The two companies agreed about the millions of dollars that they will spend in the gaming industry and their CEOs announced the creation of even more new games. Why not? They may even create World of Spiderman or World of Guitar Hero someday! Whatever is to come, the experience of Blizzard and the new bright ideas of Activision can make miracles in the gaming industry. Patience my friends! There is more to come..
