What Suits You Better a Console or PC for Gaming?

In my opinion I would have to say the the console is a better platform. I have played many PC and console games over the years and it seems that I always return to the console. The PC does hold good things, don't get me wrong, there are many good games on the PC that I have played and enjoyed and I still play a couple of PC games as it is right now, but my collection of console games far exceeds my collection of PC games. Mostly the PC games that I play are FPS games (First Person Shooter) like Counterstrike, Tribes, etc.

But with the rise of consoles including an online portion of their service I believe that more people are going to switch over the consoles when they can play the same games on either a PC or a console. I believe that the PC is firstly a device for browsing the web researching, writing and generally learning new things while getting a little bit of entertainment. The console on the other hand is built specifically for games and is more tailored to gamers than a PC is. There may be more games for the PC than there are for consoles, this is because the PC is more widespread than the console was, but in this day and age there are more and more consoles in people's homes now than there were in the past so that seems to say that people are moving away from PC gaming and turning to real gaming machines: The Console.

I have an XBox 360 with a gold membership to XBox Live and I wouldn't have it any other way. I can play all my shooters such as: Halo 2, Halo 3 and Battlefield 1942 and I can also play the genre I love the BEST: RPG's! I play Fable, Two Worlds and Oblivion. I have more games than that but t hose are the main games I play. I have a Playstation 2 as well and I am a HUGE fan of the Final Fantasy series, I have everyone that is for Playstation 1 & 2 and I have the MMORPG Final Fantasy XI for XBox 360 as well.

The games just keep getting better and better for consoles, so in the future I expect to see more people using consoles for gaming than a PC for gaming!
