What Tomorrow Holds for Apple Without Their Visionary

Jobs' Legacy Will Guide Apple in the Future

As millions of Apple fans and users look down at their devices a question looms, what is next for Apple after Steve Jobs? It is indisputable that the genius of Steve Jobs was truly the driving force behind Apple's success. It appears that Jobs instilled the same values and drive in the Apple employees that he held so close. The company will continue to innovate, and Jobs' legacy will live on. For one, I will have an empty feeling seeing someone else take the stage at Apple events.

Apple is looking to have one of the biggest quarters ever to end 2011

Although the first response to the new Apple iPhone 4s were sluggish, PC Magazine reports that launch day iPhones have been sold out. There are rumors of an iPad lite version that will be smaller and more affordable. This is most likely an attempt to compete with Amazon and the new Kindle Fire. Also, at the most recent summit, Apple introduced the iCloud which will allow users to completely integrate all technology into their lives and connect to the world from anywhere. Apple is also launching the new operating system for the iPhone 4s, the iOS5. There are also rumors that the next generation Apple TV will operate the new iOS5 which will incorporate Apps and other items directly on televisions in the living room. It is interesting that Apple is sticking with the Apple TV. It has been a goal of Apple for a long time to win the living room battle. If Apple can improve upon the interface on the Apple TV, then it might stand a chance. Incorporating iCloud, would mean that all your Apple products will immediately have access to the same data. You also get 5 gigabytes of iCloud storage. As long as Apple continues to pump out awesome products, the company will be around for a very long time.

Apple is and always had been more than one man

But in his own private and quiet way, Steve Jobs very much embodied all that Apple is and stood for. There are countless tributes to the business man, and the man, and people realize when someone this rare will be missed. Owning an Apple computer for myself, was like being a part of a movement. Apple has set up an e-mail account for anyone to send thoughts and prayers and just to remember Steve at rememberingsteve@apple.com. His funeral was held Friday, October 7, 2011 and was not a public service. It was attended by a small group of family and friends.
