What the Top Ten Resolutions Should Be for the President Elect

New Years Resolutions that Will Work for the Poeple

Guy Shannon
A New Year's resolution should mean something more than "I will quit smoking," or "I will lose weight," especially to the new President. Ten new resolutions that would address the Rights of citizens should be considered.
1. Before I make any decision I will be sure that the decision I make secures the Rights of citizens in the process.
2. I will make sure that government has only privileges granted by the people.
3. I will veto any bill that does not meet the mandates of the Constitution.
4. The governments role is to abide by the Constitution; in that the government will not offer bailouts or loans, or invest in anything but the protection of the Rights of the people.
5. I will appoint only judges that believe in and interpret the Constitution according to its wording.
6. I will end the illegal tax on compensation for services and abide by Supreme Court decisions.
7. I will see to it that all laws of the united States are uniform and abide by the Constitution.
8. I will not allow direct Taxation without apportionment.
9. I will demand that the law of Habeus Corpus is emphatically upheld in all instances.
10. I will demand a severe spending reduction.

There! That ought to do it for starters. The next step is to reduce in-house organizations that demand bureaucracies; like the one that got us here in the first place, FHA. Let's get the government out of business and down to protecting our Rights. The government is there to secure our Rights, so that we can enjoy 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness' among our many others. Let's stop stealing property, for example, for the so-called sake of society, which has yet to be a proven fact; rather it's for the so-called sake of fictitious growth.
And our "credit system"; this is a false economy that does nothing but put us in debt and creates indentured servants for the banker enabling the banker to exploit society, create societal ills, for the sake of its gain. We have to stop this debauchery and rape. We must return to a cash or good money system. Credit is great for business, but it is merely a cash maker for bankers who make 46% on credit cards when they can't lose since there is no money involved.
There are many things the new President can do to end this awful impedance to gain where government, at every level, stands in our way ready to create trouble or take whatever we possess from our earnings. This is not Russia, or Communist China, this is America; and by God, we are going to be free.

Many more than ten resolutions are required to save us. But, if I could only recommend one; that one would be for all of us every day to pray for America. We should pray for America to excel spiritually as much as it has excelled materially. If we are balanced, the material with the spiritual, then with equal wings the bird of America can fly. But now, where we are imbalanced, the material wing being exceedingly heavy, the bird of America cannot fly and is falling to earth. We must pray for God's assistance as we are incapable of resolving these issues on our own.
