What is True Love?

Carmella Mae Dunkin
There are so many couples in this world that just cannot stand to be together for more than a couple of hours per day, and sometimes that is pushing it. Finding a couple that just cannot get enough of being together, is so rare any more it seems. I have had conversations with other women about vacations away from their husbands, and talking about how they don't want to go home, because they have to deal with their husband.

To be honest, I do not understand why men and women get married if they do not love each other enough to do so. I think it is really sad to see a couple wanting so much to not be with one another.

Could you imagine a husband and wife so much in love that they literally spend every minute of every day together? I mean 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I know, that is a hard one to fathom, isn't it? It gets better, not only do they spend every minute together, they cannot stand to be apart from one another either! Better still, they have enjoyed this way of life for 8 years! Eight years of pure marital bliss they call it. They've been married for 13 years, and 8 of those 13 have been spent together, pretty much 24/7, and they have enjoyed every minute of their time together, and never want to spend a moment apart. They go to the store together, doctor appointments, everywhere, literally! Hard to believe, but a very true story! Oh sure they have an argument now and then, what couple don't, but in 13 years, they have never gone to bed angry, (a very important step to staying happy together), an argument has never lasted for more than maybe 30 minutes tops, they always end up laughing at each other, because of how stupid it was to be arguing in the first place.

You know this is true love, because this couple just cannot get enough of being with one another. Can you imagine spending that much time with your spouse? Every waking minute, and enjoying being together? I can imagine it, in fact I can prove the story is true, because I am that lucky woman, who found the perfect man, and what I explained above, is my life, and I would not trade it for all the money in the world!!! Or anything else either.

This IS true love!

I can really relate to this. My fiance and I have been together for four years, and have been able to spend two of them seeing each other every day. Just recently I had to move away (only two months before we get married), and it's been really tough only seeing him on the weekends. I can't wait until he moves in! I'm really glad you found someone that you can't spend enough time with!

Truth can be "stranger" (to some) than fiction. Yet True Love is the only reality worth living for... Nice, Carmella Mae... Always, Michael

For all my life, I've been searching for the type of love you have described. I believe it's a rare thing to find and some may never find it.

I like this. So many times we find it "cute" when spouses throw barbs and hate each other. They should be best friends, "bud". This is beautiful.

This is beautiful. I have found this in my life a few times but circumstances did not make it possible. It was sad.
