The show has won the Emmy in the category of Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Series in 1994, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002.

Real Time with Bill Maher is a comedy series on HBO hosted by the politically charged comedian Bill Maher. The show has been airing on HBO since 2003 and features celebrity guests discussing the political issues of the day.
