Unwanted Facial Cleanser
Body Scrub: I don't use all of my facial cleanser, and they're collecting dust sitting in my bathroom. A good idea to reuse them is to mix your facial cleanser with something abrasive, I would use either sugar or baking powder and then you have a brand new body scrub. It will exfoliate your skin while getting rid of dirt. It's also very useful to use if you have pimples on you body.
I wouldn't recommend using this scrub on your face especially if you have sensitive skin, the skin on your face is a lot more sensitive than the skin on your body.
Pre-Cleanser: You might not know that one face wash is usually never enough to clean your face. At the end of the day especially, you face is full of dirt, oil and makeup. One wash usually clears all away this, but what about cleansing your actual skin? This is where your old face cleanser comes in - use it before cleansing your face with a normal cleanser. I use a cheap cleanser to remove the dirt and makeup from my face and then I use an expensive cleanser. You can buy a pre-cleanser from a shop, but why waste money when you can re-use?
Lingerie and Delicate Clothes Wash: This tip is only for gentle cleansers. Face cleanser works a treat on delicate articles of clothing that can't be machine washed or washed with harsh laundry detergents. All you need is water and some of your cleanser mixed together, and then wash your lingerie/clothes in the mixture, rinse and then hang out.
Unwanted Toner
Household Cleanser: I mentioned this briefly in "Double Your Beauty!" but toner works like a charm on tiled surfaces as a cleanser, especially if you have a toner with alcohol in it. I use toners to clean up in the bathroom because they leave white surfaces sparkling clean and smelling nice.
Unwanted Face Scrub:
Foot Scrub: This is mostly for those face scrubs that are way too harsh on your skin, and maybe even too harsh for your body (I've seen a lot, believe me!). Because they're rough, they'll ruin the delicate skin on your face. But the skin on your feet is very rough but still needs to be exfoliated. Use your harsh facial scrub on your feet for a nice pedicure!
Remember to use your imagination to save your money and beauty. Thanks for reading!
