Qualities of Labrador Retrievers

Labradors come in shades of black, yellow and chocolate. The males are 65 to 80 lbs and females weight around 55 to 70 lbs. Every Labrador can be recognized by its temperament, head, tail and coat. The dogs generally have two coats - one inner coat which keeps them dry and warm coat and the outer coat which repels the water. The dogs generally have a thick tail which tapers towards the end.
