What was Randy Couture's UFC 109 Entrance Song?

Couture's Walk Out Song for Legends Match in Vegas

Randy Couture sells pay-per-views and tickets with the best of them, and he also happens to win big UFC matches as much as anyone the organization has seen as well.

In the UFC, entrance songs play a big part in a fighter's mystique entering each UFC event and also their personality. Couture usually chooses good old fashioned hard rock, and that was his choice yet again at UFC 109 as he defeated Mark Coleman.

Couture and Coleman were the first two active UFC Hall-of-Famers to meet in the Octagon for a UFC fight and Couture disposed of Coleman easily via rear-naked choke in the second round.

What was Randy Couture's UFC 109 Entrance Song?

Randy Couture's UFC 109 entrance song was "Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent, the crazy 80's star from Michigan who has hosted TV shows before and who knows his way around an intense hard rock song or two.

The song seemed almost prophetic in a way for Randy Couture's entrance as he went on to put Coleman in a stranglehold of sorts, living up to the Ted Nugent "Stranglehold" lyric "Got you in a stranglehold now, baby!"

Couture will next potentially fight the winner of Lyoto Machida and Shogun Rua for a possible title shot. Couture's entrance song seems to change fairly often but his UFC 109 entrance song seemed like a good choice based on the outcome of the fight in Las Vegas.
