Clarrissa Pinkola Estesa has posted an article titled "Ted Kennedy and Mary Jo Kopechne.
In this article we find out more about the Kennedy Clan: Probably more than most of us want to know.
It seems that the problems that Ted Kennedy had could be traced back to Joe Kennedy.
Joe Kennedy was a "not nice guy." He believed that women were either to be used or to be kept pregnant.
He groomed his boys for public office and the girls for social work. However, because one began to show signs of promiscuity (Rosemary) he had her placed in a mental institution.
This was Ted Kennedy's father, his role model and, he lived up to it.
He lived a most privileged life but got kicked out of Harvard for cheating.
Who Ted Kennedy really was actually has gone with him to the grave.
I don't know how we can look at some of the evidence and think he was an honest guy.
Do you think his cheating ended in college?
To me who Ted Kennedy is (or was) has to do with the accident at Chappaquiddick.
Ted Kennedy did not report the accident until the next morning.
He was taking a woman home he was not married to and he survived the wreck while she did not. There was apparently 20 minutes of air when the car went down. That is time enough to go back and save someone.
Over the years people have made excuses for Kennedy saying he was "dazed." Was he "dazed" all night?
What happened that night was that Kennedy's training about women came out. Kopechne was a piece of meat.
Perhaps you feel I am being too rough on Ted Kennedy especially since he is dead.
No, I'm not.
Ted Kennedy didn't have the courage to see that Mary Jo Kopechne's family was notified of her demise. Rather he "hid out."
And don't day that money doesn't have power. For something most of us would have done jail time for, Kennedy got a two-month suspended sentence.
Ted Kennedy ended up being the worst type of example of the abuse of power. Further, he disdained people, mostly women.

Post a Commentto cite The list si blank. Is that because you made up a story that COULD POSSIBLY fit the facts by filling in the gaps with made up material then saying, "see! It could have happened this way!" Yes, it could. Just as it could have happened 10,000 other ways. That something could happen is not proof that it did happen.
And don't forget to thank JK8Forum.com for reminding him of the one "rumor" he left out of his work of fiction. He even writes"rumored" yet considers it damning evidence.
Thank you. I'm so tired of seeing all the praise for a man who was a murderer.
I have always wondered what really happened with this issue. I guess we'll never know.
Wow!!!! Lots of dirt!!!! Don't lot of our politicians have "dirty faces.??"
Its amazing that almost all thenew stories leave out chappaquidick and Kennedy's cocaine and drug abuse. He was surely a bad character in many ways, but he is revered like a saint now. If he was anyone else he goes to jail. ANd the judge that rejected his testimony retired a few days later. Did he accomplish a lot in the senate, perhaps according to what you want accomplished, but his life was pock marked with some nasty character issues.
Yes, I love this article! Good riddance of bad rubbish. Politicians are nothing but dirt.
I concur...this piece was right on the mark and actually very kind. Ted Kennedy was the worst kind of political filth there is, and that doesn't even address the moral bankrupt he was.
Okay, you're a Bears fan so I'll just shut up, something you may want to consider too when you know nothing.
The irony of the tripe Mr. Davis just posted is that it flies in the face of this "liberals are hateful" idea that he and his ilk over at Faux News try to apply to those who disagree with them philosophically.
Don't forget that Joseph Kennedy had an affair with Gloria Swanson while married and he not only had Rosemary put in an institution, he had someone give her a lobotomy and she HAD to be institutionalized until the day she died recently. Also, don't forget that Mary Jo Kopechne was rumored to be PREGNANT.
