What to Wear

Karen Barnes
Some of you may have seen the show "What Not to Wear." Stacy and Clinton are the hosts of the show that help people upgrade their clothes into a more stylish wardrobe.

Well today, you are going to take a trip down a fashion lane in reverse. Today you're going to learn how to dress yourself in the most God awfulest ways possible.

Stripes - No, not the Movie with Bill Murray

Where stripes that go in any direction you want. Stripes are flattering to the body no matter what anyone says. Stripes make the world go round. You see stripes on the road dividing the lanes.

Dressing like a convict in stripes is a really hot fashion statement. Not only will you look flattering to everyone you meet, you will have the attention of every man or woman in uniform. Police men or women that is.

Remember the stripped socks that were worn in the 70's. The vintage stripped socks will go great with capri pants that have stripes running at an angle. Stripped socks can be found here.

Plaids - Yes you can dress like your 70's furniture

Plaids are another great fabric that will do wonders in clothing. Plaids will take you back to the 70's for sure. This 70's Plaid Babydoll dress will make you the hottest woman on the planet.

Let's not forget the wool plaid pants that was all the rave in the 70's. While this pair is in red and black, you could also find the traditional Irish plaid and a yellow an black plaid in various clothing.

Tie Dyed - Tie Dyed is Groovy Man

Tie dyed clothes are so far out that these clothing items will make you feel as if you stepped back into a drug-induced stupor. Tie dyed clothing can be found in t-shirts, dresses, dress shirts, and pants.

Recent tie dyed clothing can be found here.

Paisley - No, not Brad Paisley

Paisley clothing is another sexy, stylish trend that you can mix and match with any of the previously mentioned clothing styles. Not only will you be so sizzling hot, you will have the attention of everyone in the room.

For instance this paisley dress can be worn with high top sneakers with the stripped socks for an adorable outfit.

While these are just a few ways of What to Wear styles, you can use any other combination of cool looking styles to make a whole new wardrobe.
