To be able to show that one instant, that one second that was captured that becomes the reality of everyone who sees it and everyone who glimpses it. The photographer wants his picture to look exactly as their eye sees it, if not more. Then came color, and the use of shadows with color, and finally capturing something that could not be seen with the naked eye such as a bullet coming out of a gun. But without the web presenter these photos and works of art are pixelated graphs of color. They are nothing compared to what looking at the picture in your hand does.
This ocean of pixels that we associate with all the time in this computer age comes through to the naked eye as shapes and images. The more pixels packed together, the better the picture looks. The web presenter packaged the pixels better than any other piece of computer equipment. The web presenter also allowed the photographer to show off his images as they would be seen if he gave you them developed himself.
The new web presenters such as the Web Presenter Pro 1.0 by Mac, yet compatible with Pc's, present the pictures in an even more packaged gift. What we as customers and web viewers were OK with a mere year ago, is no longer what we want or expect. We want to see the yellow of the lumber the man was working on. We want to see the red of the blood that is dripping from the man's arm. We want to see the blue of the man's jacket that fell. Because of the web presenter we will be able to see the small piece of wood that he tripped on that is still on the ladder.
Not only is the web presenter the photographer's best friend, but it is also the marketing and sales persons'. When a sales product is just taken and uploaded, it just sits there and lies about on the page. Where as with a web presenter, when a customer sees a car, they see the gleam, the sparkle, the contours of the seat, and they can almost smell that new car smell. With a web presenter, the turkey is not just on the table, it is mouthwatering and juicy.
