Lindsay Lohan is obviously a person who has serious acting ability with her appearances in many popular movies and by also appearing on tv shows like Saturday Night Live.
Tabloids
Somehow, Lindsay Lohan, manages to keep her name in the tabloids with her wild and crazy antics at nightclubs, where she continues to drink and get drunk despite the fact that she has been ordered by the court to stay away from alcohol.
Lindsay Lohan, An Alcoholic?
To many, it's speculated that Lindsay Lohan is an alcoholic. It's also speculated that Lindsay Lohan is a drug addict too. In her recent court case, she has been ordered to wear an alcohol-monitoring device.
Alcoholism
Alcoholism is a serious disease that requires treatment. I've heard from doctors that say the only effective treatment of alcoholism is regular attendance of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Provided that you do get a sponsor and work the 12 steps of the program.
Celebrities
While we can only speculate on what goes through the mind of someone like Lindsay Lohan; there seems to be a staggering amount of celebrities dying before their prime. Celebrities like Michael Jackson, River Phoenix, and Brittany Murphy seemed like they still had so much talent and energy to give to the world, that their untimely deaths, shocked everyone.
Help And Support
I have to say that I'm a fan of Lindsay Lohan. I've enjoyed her movies and she seems like a talented individual. I can only hope and pray that she gets the help and support that she needs to stay away from drugs and alcohol.
The Media And Celebrities
Because our media puts so much focus on celebrities and the lives they lead, Lindsay Lohan is still a role model for kids and adults around the world. Right now, though, she's not setting a good example to follow.
Celebrities Are People Too
While our media puts the lives of celebrities in the limelight for everybody to see when they succeed and when they fail, we have to remember that celebrities are people too. Celebrities are prone to the same pitfalls as everybody else on the planet.

I hope that she gets the help that she needs.
She needs help desperately and unfortunately the court isn't helping her. She needs to be held accountable for the choices she makes and actions she takes.
Lindsey Lohan is her own worst enemy. She needs to learn to make better choices. Once she does, she will become successful as an actress.
many stars have the same problems. Her problems are more horrible than others because she lets them get that way. It is a shame
I hope she gets the help she needs.
I think of her as she was as a child star, hope she finds help.
Kurt - truly sad what addictions can do. Ruin lives and shatter families. I hope Lindsay can overcome her addictions - it will only work if she wants help to do that. Forcing rehab on someone is never fruitful. cheers :)
