What Will Men Risk for a Fulfilling Sex Life?

Viagra has caused a sexual revolution of sorts. How many jokes have you heard about grandpa getting more action than a college kid? With the invention of Viagra, men can have the sex lives that they only dreamed of before.

It is no surprise that sex is almost a constant thought on a mans mind. How important would a man rate sex in his life? Is it more important than life itself. One has to wonder? With all the risks of Viagra, it is still a popular drug. Reports have been made that Viagra can cause heart attacks, blindness and hearing loss. That is quite a bit of risk, yet men are still taking it. They aren't worried about their heart, eyes or ears, just as long as their penis works.

Makes you wonder, what risk would a man consider to much of a risk to have sex. Are they even thinking about the risks of Viagra. Are they satisfied with a possible blind and deaf future with heart problems for the opportunity of a satisfying sex life? I somehow don't think that women would put themselves at that kind of risk. But then again, men have always held the prize for being the gender most obsessed with sex.

Now, I am sure that there are plenty of women that are happy with their mans' new found performance enhancement. Are they happy enough to risk their mans' life? Apparently so, I don't see the Viagra company suffering any profit loss. Maybe that makes women a selfish species. If women were the one at risk I am sure they would form a support group for women whose husbands didn't care that their lives were at risk from their sexual enhancement medication.

I guess that one should not be surprised that men would risk their lives for sex. Let us think about another thing that men have done to enable themselves to have a sex life. The penis pump! A device that is surgically put into the penis that enables erection, with an inflation pump that is activated by squeezing the testicles. The risks? The pump can actually break through the skin of the penis. Ouch! I don't know about you, but the thought is horrifying. I would be afraid to squeeze that pump. I guess the obsession with sex, makes even that worth it to men.

What this says about our society, I don't even want to know. Sex more important than life. More important than health. This world really is driven by sex.
