What Would You Buy for Your Cat on a Cat Shopping Spree?

I recently came across this posting about a cat shopping spree on a popular cat blog and I started to think about what would I buy for my cat if we were to be so lucky to win such a shopping spree! And I may actually be so lucky because they are planning on holding these types of drawings on a regular basis. I hope me and my cat win next time! All you have to do is send them a picture of your cat.

Well I would definitely have to get my cat some catnip. He loves catnip! But what about some cat furniture? cat toys? premium cat food? There are so many possibilities!

I'll tell you one thing I would definitely get for my cat if we didn't already have one. A laser. He goes absolutely crazy for the laser pointer. He never gets tired of chasing it! Which is cool because it's very entertaining for both me and for the cat! It's also great exercise for him and it can be hard to find good exercise for an indoor cat sometimes.

Cat furniture? I go back and forth on this one! Part of me thinks cat furniture is completely unnecessary because cats pretty much make anything into their furniture! Especially any sort of box. My cat loves boxes! But that being said when I look at this cat furniture page I can't help but get a bit excited about some of these things! The kitty gyms, the cat trees, the kat kabins, and especially the litterbox furniture all look like they'd be pretty cool to have around!

Cat toys? A cat toy is anything a cat finds to play with! Yes this is true but cats can get some enjoyment out of actual cat toys too! One thing I'm particularly interested in getting my cat is a "Cat DVD" that's for sale at CatsPlay. They say that this movie is made especially for cats to watch all day while you are away from home. It's about 90 minutes long and it's set to automatically play on repeat so you can just leave it on all day while you are at work. I think this would work especially well for my cat because he actually seems to watch TV sometimes which seems to be a bit of a rarity but he really does get into it! He also definitely likes to watch the computer screen sometimes. He'll chase the mouse pointer. He's never got to chase a real mouse so I guess he has to make do with a computer mouse! Premium cat food! I would definitely purchase some premium cat food for my cat if I were to go on a cat shopping spree. In my experience it's definitely worth the higher prices both because the cat enjoys it more and it's much better for them.
