What I Would Change About Netflix (My Favorite Product)

First of all I love movies. I love being able to curl up and watch whatever I want when I am ready. This is the reason why my favorite product of all would have to be Netflix. Netflix is such a great service. I can watch movies, TV shows and more on it. I enjoy the options and usability of Netflix so much that as a family we decided to give up cable and only have Netflix! Now I know some of you are thinking wow, I couldn't ever live without cable. Well I admit it was hard at first however, after the first month or so it wasn't a big deal anymore. Also the huge savings helped!

Anyway with the ability to watch shows when ever we had the time to not just when it was on, we became much more active in life and enjoyed it more. Netflix is truly a wonders product. However, there is one thing about Netflix that could be changed about it to make it even better.

I would change the main tabs on the Netflix page. I would add a tab that says "Coming soon" and under this tab I would list the movies/ TV shows that are not currently out but are either in theaters or coming out soon. That way users of Netflix can easily find new movies/ TV shows to watch without having to hunt for them in the search bar. This would be a huge improvement to the site. I know I personally think the price of a movie at the theater has gotten out of control and in times of economic crunch the last thing I want to do is spend $50 plus to go see a movie in the theaters that's packed with strangers and charges $4 or more for popcorn! Being able to add movies/ shows before they come out and then being able to watch them once they do release without having to remember each and every movie from say 1 year ago I wanted to see. More movies would be seen then, most people don't remember for 6 months to 1 year all the movies they wanted to see but didn't in theater. Adding this feature is sure to boost the number of users Netflix has.

I also think it would be very awesome if for the first week or so that the new movie was released (maybe not all but some of the more popular ones) you could get it on instant. I know personally I love this feature. I love being able to watch my Netflix instant queue on my Xbox 360. This feature was actually one of the reasons why I choose to give up cable and only use Netflix.
