What would you do for a Zhu Zhu?

Across the nation people are waiting hours on end to make sure their precious little child will not be disappointed on Christmas morning and Its only getting worse.

Zhu Zhu pets are the hottest gift of the season and like each year the hottest items are hard to find.

Walmart and Target have been sold out for weeks. Their employees are telling customers that they will not have any more Zhu Zhu pets prior to Christmas. Toys R Us stores across the nation have resorted to keeping them in back and organizing events where people wait in line to get 1 per person.

At a local Toys R Us store, the line for Zhu Zhu pets to be sold at 3pm started at 845 am. At 1pm there where over 30 people in line and by 3 pm there were well over 100. The accessories are just as hard to come by. Even though these people waited in line for hours most of them would not get the opportunity to get accessories, as they sold out first.

People on Ebay are selling them quickly at over $30.00 and as much as $49.99, Amazon.com has them listed at $33.75.

Even blogs across the Internet are getting in on the excitement. www.donedieting.com is giving away 2 pets and 6 boxes of various accessories to a lucky subscriber of its health and wellness newsletter. www.guessingalltheway.com a blog of tales from a clueless mom also has a Zhu Zhu pet to give away.

There is even a scandal already a San Francisco company claiming to be a consumer watchdog called Good Guide posted news that 1 of the pets has and unsafe amount of Tin and antimony. This news spread fast and caused Cepia the maker of Zhu Zhu pets to quickly dispute by posting a report and the safety test results.

How many kids will will be disappointed? How many people are waiting and hunting? What would you do for a Zhu Zhu?
