Application
The Wrecking Balm kit consists of several products, making the application process a thorough one. To begin, clean the tattooed skin and pat dry. Dip the DemoMatic hand device into the Suffusion Gel and rub it over the tattoo with gentle pressure for 45 seconds. Rinse and pat dry again.
Next, cover the tattoo with the Demo-Brasion Spray and let it set for 90 seconds. A tingling sensation may occur. After the time has elapsed, rinse the skin and pat dry.
After the skin has completely dried, appy the Hydravescent Cream onto the tattooed skin. This works to sooth and lighten the affected area. Users can also purchase the Branding Butter separately. According to the Tattoo Removal Association, it's a water-resistant protective layer that allows the Wrecking Balm system do its work. It's also a concealer, so it temporarily minimizes the appearance of tattoos.
Allergic Reactions
According to the Wrecking Balm official website, its products are gentle and should not cause severe irritation. However, if you experience a severe or persistent allergic reaction to Wrecking balm, stop using the product immediately. Allergic reaction symptoms include pain or severe discomfort, blisters and bright red skin. Speak to your doctor or dermatologist before using Wrecking Balm if you have any concerns or are prone to allergic reactions. Before using Wrecking Balm, test a small area of your skin.
