Whatever Happened to Full Force?

Denise
Every now and then your mind goes back to a place you've been before, and you're like, 'I wonder what ever happened to..?" Well, this is one of those moments. What ever happened to Full Force? I remember the days that they were in music videos with Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, "I Wonder If I Take You Home" and their own songs like "Temporary Love Thing" and "Can I Get Your Number." Let me inform you that Full Force is still "in the place to be" One of the songs they've co-written was with the Black Eyed Peas, a little tune called "Don't Phunk With My Heart."

Full Force are from Brooklyn, New York and are a family group that have been writing and producing R&B and hip hop hits for many years. The members consist of B-Fine(Brian George) on drums, Baby Gerry(Gerry Charles) on keyboards, Bowlegged Lou(Lucien George) does vocals, Curt-TT(Curt Bedeau) on guitar, Paul Anthony(Paul Anthony George) does vocals and Shy Shy(Junior Clark) on bass. B-Fine, Paul Anthony and Bowlegged Lou are brothers and the remaining guys are their cousins.

Some of the other artists that they have produced and written for are Britney Spears, UTFO, Doctor Ice, James Brown, The Backstreet Boys, Latoya Jackson and Selena. In 1988 Full Force sang background vocals for two Bob Dylan songs on Infidels, "Death Is Not The End" and "Tell Me". They also did some acting in House Party, featuring Kid and Play in the '90's. Right now they are involved with another film, Bouncers. They have finally released a greatest hits compilation out on Thump Records.

You can go to their official website which features a photo gallery of them with friends, some of which include Will Smith, Alicia Keys, Daryl Hall and John Oates, Britney Spears, The Back Street Boys, Justin Timberlake, Lil' Kim and many more. There are also music videos, a play list of the people that they have produced and co-written songs with, their bio, the family of artists past and present and a contact list. Get on their mailing list free, or better yet, you can email the group members, or use snail mail. Yes. You can actually get in touch with them!

You can also go to the Full Force Family website where you will get the latest news, see the artists their working with, purchase their music and listen to their radio station.
