You can always go ahead and spend the FarmVille cash to purchase the individual parts, but I personally was willing to wait it out and work to get those parts for free.
What Does the Beehive Offer?
We've all seen that harvesting crops can yield bushels. These bushels can be used to increase the mastery of crops by adding a +1 crop mastery to each crop harvested. The mastery bonus is only available for 2 hours, once placed.
The beehive looks to add in finding pollinated seeds from fertilized crops. These pollinated seeds will then help unlock pollinated crops in the market. The chances of yielding bushels from pollinated crops will be higher and pollinated bushels will last for 2 days.
In essence, this is a means to add in more features to the bushel collection and allow for greater crop mastery. By adding this in, the time a pollinated bushel being used for crop mastery is extended, allowing for possibly more crops to be harvested at an increase of crop mastery.
Beehive Completed, Now What?
So you've received (or purchased) the parts needed to complete your beehive. Now you need to get yourself a queen bee. You can purchase one for 10 FarmVille cash or try your luck at finding one. I personally am wishing to take the free option and try my luck, unless somehow I can get the FarmVille cash.
There are two main way to find one for free:
- Harvesting flower crops on your farm
- Fertilizing neighbor's flower crops
Or if you are super lucky, a friend who already has a queen bee will find one and since you can only have one, will post their find to the wall. Hurry if you see one on the wall, as I suspect these will be grabbed up really quick. If you are lucky enough to be someone who finds an extra queen bee, please be sure to post it to the wall and give a lucky friend the chance to have one as well. Queen bees are not able to be purchased and sent through the market, like so many other items can.
The Queen Cannot Do It Alone
You have your beehive and queen bee. She will need some Honey Bees to assist her. These can be purchased through the market, 5 honey bees for 5 FarmVille cash. However, with a few helpful friends, you can save and have them help you by sending you honey bees. You can also request honey bees from your friends. Be a friend in return and as with building supplies for the beehive, send your friends honeybees to assist them in creating their colony.

Post a CommentI filled my beehive with 200 bees more than a week ago, and have yet to find any pollinated seeds.
