What's Behind Your Horoscope?

A horoscope by definition is a "diagram used to foretell a person's life." They date back thousands of years to the ancient Greeks. A person's horoscope, or birth chart as it is also called, depends on the time of the calendar year that they were born in. The year is composed of twelve sections, which make up the zodiac. Each section is called a sign.

Please don't blame me, I only did the research on this article! If you see something that you might disagree with, blame the ancient Greeks. I'm considered irritable and sloppy, it's hard to hear the truth!

I'll put the different "signs" below. Some people will read their horoscopes on a daily basis. I'm not one of them. I can't tell you the times that it will be wrong for me, or maybe I'm just looking at the wrong newspaper? Being born on the cusp has it's own share of problems, like for instance, depending on who you ask - I could be a Virgo or a Leo.

It never fails, they always tell me I'll have money, which I don't yet. They will always give me a lot of stars for "love." They obviously do not know I'm married. They give me stars for "style." Unless they enjoy Wal-Mart fashions, I really don't believe I'm in style.

To each his own, if you enjoy reading - then power to you, but it just doesn't seem to work for me!

The "zodiacs" correspond to twelve different constellations, based on the time of year you were born.

If you were born between March 21 and April 19, then your sign is "Aries." You are said to be confident and intelligent. They are also said to be impatient and selfish.

If you were born between April 20 and May 20, then your sign is "Taurus." You are said to be dependable and loyal. They are also said to be stubborn and self-indulgent at times.

If you were born between May 21 and June 20, then your sign is "Gemini." You are said to be harmonious and agreeable. They are also said to be fickle and gossipy at times.

If you were born between June 21 and July 22, then your sign is Cancer. You are said to be sensitive and protective. They are also said to be moody and shrewd at times.

If you were born between July 23 and August 22, then your sign is Leo. You are said to be honest and brave. They are also said to be braggers at times.

If you were born between August 23 and September 22, then your sign is Virgo. You (and me) are said to be modest and hard working. They are also said to be irritable and sloppy at times.

If you were between September 23 and October 22, then your sign is Libra. You are said to be charming and romantic. They are also said to be flirty and overbearing at times.

If you were born between October 23 and November 22, then your sign is Scorpio. You are said to be good concentrators. They are also said to be secretive and unnerving at times.

If you were born between November 23 and December 21, then your sign is Sagittarius. You are said to be optimistic and adaptable. They are also said to be short-tempered and indulgent at times.

If you were born between December 22 and January 19, then your sign is Capricorn. You are said to be realistic and cautious. They are also said to be egotistical and critical at times.

If you were born between January 20 and February 19, your sign is Aquarius. You are said to be cooperative and thoughtful. They are also said to be rude and insecure at times.

And, if you were born between February 20 and March 20, then your sign is Pisces. You are said to be caring and helpful. They are also said to be dependent and blameful others at times.
