VeggieTales represented Phil's effective way of teaching individual Bible stories, yet did not confront important concepts like sin or God's grace. His new series, What's in the Bible?, will address Biblical literacy in the same whimsical way that made VeggieTales a blockbuster success. The 13-part DVD series will address concepts that are at the core of our faith, and attempt to build a meaningful knowledge of the Christian faith in young children. With as many as 65% of Christian kids disconnecting from Church when they leave for college, it seems that something has to be done, and Phil Visher has come to the rescue.
If your kids are ready to start growing in their knowledge of fundamental concepts in the Bible, as well as understanding why these concepts will make a difference to them, What's in the Bible? is a great resource to get them there. It will walk your kids all the through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and answers questions like Who wrote the Bible? Why should we trust the Bible as a reliable source for God's word? Where did the Bible come from? and Why it is important that I learn about all this stuff anyway?
What's in the Bible? is hosted by a whole new cast of characters, including puppets and animated friends, and a host of great new songs Phil Visher style. Hang on, we're in for another wild, wacky and educational ride!
If you're not sure what all the excitement is about, and you haven't seen a VeggieTales video yet, here's a collection of released videos for your family to enjoy together. They are a wonderful!
