What's the Big Deal About Holocaust Denial?

It's all about freedom of speech isn't it? It is not "illegal" to deny the Holocaust in the USA is it? And the USA is the "gold standard" for freedom of speech" isn't it? So why is it illegal to publicize any report that the Holocaust was a hoax in at least fourteen countries? Doesn't everyone know that the truth is relative? Why are so many deniers so poorly treated?

This is just a small sampling of the questions that need to be addressed about this Holocaust denial stuff in the eyes of most deniers and fence-sitters. But none of them have anything to do with why Holocaust denials, and deniers, are often reviled.

A basic misunderstanding of what freedom of speech is all about helps foster the inane clouding of the issues involved in public denial. Many people who are appalled by Holocaust denial don't understand free speech either. All that many of them can come up with is that such denial is awful and that it "feels" totally wrong. And, curiously enough, they are on to something that is closer to the truth than too many politicians and "deep thinkers" can fathom. How is it possible for people that make decisions based on emotions, turn out to be closer to the truth than some so-called, rational intellectual analyzers? Especially, since emotion-based "reasoning" (oxymoron alert) is nearly always wrong in public-policy decisions?

As a rule, virtually every public policy decision or law based on emotion and "belief" (irrational use of feelings, expressed as truth, without significant objective evidence for support ) is idiotically incorrect. It is nearly always the product of some group of people being able to exert the power necessary to impose a rule or a law on the currently less powerful who disagree. Since this occurs over time and often changes with the party in power, we all inherit a hodgepodge of moronic, sometimes contradictory rules and laws (this is one important reason why I often write about the need for government, to be kept on a very short leash and supplied with a good "beating" regularly).

The reason for this is that the visceral revulsion and the forceful rejection of Holocaust denial have nothing to do with a person lacking knowledge about individual rights. It is actually due to the instinctive human hatred for being lied to for the gain of another. Such trickery is not acceptable in even partially intelligent animals. The reason for this is based on the survival instinct. It is nothing more complicated than not wanting to be deprived of anything needed for individual survival, by being deliberately cheated by one's own species (loss of life, freedom, food, shelter, sex, etc.). In nature, perpetrating or succumbing to that kind of fraud can get you killed very quickly.

It doesn't take a legal genius to understand this. In fact, sometimes those whose minds are already clouded by legal concepts and legal gibberish complicate this or miss the point entirely. But at least the legal definition of fraud exists for those of us that are "legally challenged"...though I'm not sure that is the right, politically correct, phrase (see, it's already getting complicated!)

Using the definition of fraud from, http://definitions.uslegal.com/f/fraud/ ; "Fraud is generally defined in the law as an intentional misrepresentation of material existing fact made by one person to another with knowledge of its falsity and for the purpose of inducing the other person to act, and upon which the other person relies with resulting injury or damage." In other words, public Holocaust denial is already illegal virtually everywhere. That is because it is criminal fraud! It' not a "matter of opinion" or "freedom of speech", it is simply just a crime.

Don't the deniers need to get some sort of "gain" (or at least think they will) in order to make public lying, fraud? Yes, and the potential gains, in their feeble minds, are the return of the "right" to kill groups of people they and their chums don't like, the right to cull valuable art, jewelry, desirable objects and even gold fillings from those people they execute and, most importantly, the power to turn the currently unclean, immoral society into a fascist, racially and ethnically pure, "paradise".

By denying the horrors caused by those with that fascist mental illness (I know, I know, that label is unfair to those who are not crazy by choice but by disease), they intend to try and obscure the issues, confuse those stupider than themselves (which, I know are quite challenging for them to find) and then wrest power from the subsequently befuddled. They don't expect it to happen overnight, but if they can just persist, they believe they can bring back the power of the "big lie". Say a lie often enough, persist past the deaths of those who remember and, voila', you get to do the bad thing all over again.

So, in their minds, their methods, their lies, their propaganda and their "final solution" provide them all sorts of "gain". Plus, by succeeding in "disproving" the Holocaust, they become the logical "heroes" needed to correct the "wrongs" brought about by the Holocaust hoaxers. I am sure they already have lots of inspired plans for ways to punish them and their supporters. In fact, I'd bet they already have plans to punish others for their religion, skin-color or country of origin.

How many other persons have you met, with severe inferiority complexes (though, in the deniers case, it is actually an appropriate condition) that are stupidly aggressive? Do they ever make-up crap to "win" an argument and/or look important? Did any of them seem to be willing to cause great harm to others, believing such will elevate their stature (e.g. like beating, torturing and killing minorities, killing small animals, abusing younger, smaller persons etc.)? Did you notice any of them figuring out on their own that they were genetically defective, mentally inferior losers? Well, that's the reason for laws against public Holocaust denial. They are passed in the off-chance that some of the deniers and their mindless followers, may figure it out. Though I wouldn't bet on that. Ignorance is repairable but stupid is generally permanent.

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence". The proof of the Holocaust has been so voluminous that it dwarfs virtually all current (and past) "extraordinary claims". There is more evidence than all other claims of genocide, more evidence than all other claims of religious "truth" and more evidence than the specific historical "facts" taught to students all over the world. It is more than probable that the Holocaust actually happened; It is beyond a reasonable doubt.

The proof of the Holocaust is documented, photographed, archived and easily available to anyone motivated enough to look at it. The physical, objective and witness evidence is so huge that is spans virtually every corner of the globe (yes, a globe can have "corners". Think geodesic dome) and fills quite few libraries and preservation facilities. There is so much confirmed evidence that even the Holocaust historians don't know it all. Politicians, socialists and used car salesman can't even come close to making-up that many lies in such a short time.

Yet there are still rather slow-witted folks out there that think it is probable that a group of crafty Jews, Blacks and Gypsies made it all up. And that the resulting conspiracy was so clever and effective that it has lasted over 60 years without any credible evidence produced against it; supported only by the terribly dim-witted arguments put forth by the deniers. But of course, the deniers claim "special" knowledge and what must be telepathic fascist insight; therefore their hare-brained followers believe they must be speaking the truth.

By the way, I haven't seen any convincing record or evidence of any groups of humans actually keeping secret a massive, conspiracy-based fraud for more than a few years (Enron comes to mind) much less over half of a century! Even the cleverly concocted and sneaky hoaxes pulled over the last 1,000 years or so (think crop circles, alien autopsy photos and-the-not-so-clever-inbred-white-trailer-park-dwellers-are-the-superior-race dreck, etc.) managed to remain hidden and successful if only one or two people were in the know. Need more evidence? How long has the Holocaust denier conspiracy managed to masquerade as the product of "scholarship" and "real" evidence?

Though I cannot prove that all group conspiracies in history were discovered, I can say that no fake claim of over a million people being killed has yet been discovered. The many millions of people killed in the Holocaust are well beyond the human capacity to make-up. In fact, the concept is so ridiculous that no one has ever offered a serious counter explanation of what happened to the 6 million or so Jews who disappeared from the face of the earth in less than 10 years (lunatic "theories" that claim the Jewish/minority/mongrel conspiracy faked 6 million birth certificates and Jews were using Photoshop to make photographs with added fictional family members, haven't produced one shred of evidence. When was Photoshop put on the market anyway?). Or is it possible that the 6 million actually sneaked across to South America and are still "hiding out" there with their hordes of offspring waiting to pounce (Of course, these being the ones involved in the new, evil deception conspiracy, to make the poor fascist pinheads appear to be murderers, liars and fraudsters)? If you think so, then somebody really screwed up by letting you out of your restraints long enough to read this. By now you are most certainly eating your own fecal matter and banging your head against the walls (harder, please).

What sort of person actually supports the made-up evidence, the false "logical" arguments and the obviously deceitful claims of those who think they are cunningly fooling the public into believing that the Holocaust never happened? I'll give you a hint; many of them, well-known for their chromosomal damage from inbreeding, often making claims that the third grade was the best decade of their lives, voluntarily wear a sheet and a dunce cap to a bonfire, assemble themselves into gangs of intentionally bald, head-banging delinquents and/or have a prisoner number for an address. Criminals, fraudsters, liars and the other mentally-damaged dregs of society "believe" the deniers. But I don't think anyone with a measurable IQ does.
