What's Your Color?

With the sun shining down and March on it's way, I'm beginning to notice the way people dress. I see the bright vibrant colors coming alive and the blacks, browns, and deep greens being shoved in the back of the closet. This made me wonder if color really does have a meaning. After some research, I find some people study color and others feel it brings some sort of meaning to life. As for me, I find that bright colors makes me happy, and that's enough for me.

So, let's see what your favorite color says about you. Mine is red, so we will start with that color.

Red- This is a commanding color. Full of passion, love, fury and power. A person who likes this color might have a "Want it now" personality.

Yellow- This is a happy color. Full of joy and happiness! Beware, however, studies do show that people who like yellow tend to be selfish.

Blue- This is a calming and clear color. One can easily seem calm and find comfort in clarity.

Green- This is actually the color of love- but on the humanistic spectrum. Environmental issues, health, growth and harmony might be priorities of those who like this color.

White- This is a pure color. It represents, softness, purity and innocence. If someone likes white, they might think on a simplistic level.

Black- This is a mysterious color. It represents unknown, or hiding something. One might be conservative if they like the color black.

Purple- This color is all about fantasy. It can represent royalty, something sacred or living in a romantic world. Someone who likes purple might enjoy fantasies and might not like the "real world".

Orange- This is a sexy color. Being close to red, it represents the lusty urges in a softer way. A person who likes orange might have a very warm personality.

This is just a small listing of colors and what they mean. If you google "The meaning of colors" you can find a wealth of knowledge on this subject. Another fun fact about colors is they can determine your mood for a certain day, or as you read about, someone's personality. Another fun fact is the top three favorite colors of females are: blue, purple, and green. Men's favorites are: blue, green and black. Now for the least favorites, women could do without orange, brown or gray. On the flip side, men don't like brown, orange or purple.

To end this, let's see what colors some famous folks like, Hilary Duff likes blue and green, Britney Spears likes baby blue, and it looks like Justin Timberlake's favorite color is baby blue also.
