The entire "funny tagalog qoutes" trend seems to be based on the language of Tagalog, which is native to parts of the Philippines. According to wikipedia, tagalong is a pretty common language in the Philippines but isn't very well known outside of the country. Apparently the earliest history records of tagalong don't date back past the mid 1500s and they were translated from Spanish. Maybe it's still to niche to be seen viewed by the mainstream or perhaps I'm out of my mind but this funny tagalog qoutes trend seems to be brewing from out of no where with a small, dedicated following. This trend known as funny tagalog qoutes hopefully will never reach the mainstream. At least one can hope...
