What's New at Deja New Fine Consignment Store in Lomita, Calif

Beautiful Furniture, Art, Garden, Deco and More

Loraine Alkire
The LA hip chic are enamored with these (see slide show at top) limited edition lithographs at Deja New Fine Consignment Furnishings, 2257 Pacific Coast Highway Lomita, CA. 90717 on Pacific Coast Highway between Narbonne and Cypress.

Artist is Egan Schiele was a protege of Gustav Klimt. ( no wonder the LA hip chic love it) The lithographer is well known Max Jaffe, almost as well known for his lithography work as the artist himself. This particular lithography is worth well over $2000 dollars and priced at just $600.

The current economy may be troublesome, but it has true advantage for collectors looking for fine art. The inventory is constantly turning, most of the customers are local helping to keep the local ecomonomy strong. It provides a place for people to take their valuables in these hard times and also a place to find true value for needed and desired items.

Another thing La hip chic really thinks is fantastic is reusing items in general. Why make more stuff? Add to polution and cut down more trees if it's not neccessary? It's the green thing to do, the right thing to do for your local economy that' a perfect combo.

Another lithograph that the LA hip chic adore is the one below (Please note the blotches are from the camera taking the photo and not the lithograph itself. The La hip chic adore Henri Matisse and especially find this one lively and interesting. Both of these would be wall worthy and we are very picky about wall worthiness. This lithograph is also done by Max Jaffe.

The building has three large show rooms and outdoor covered patio and a half of the lowest price marked tent, plus a beautiful garden with outdoor patio sets, teak swings from India, chimes, cherubs, roosters, and even an antique rickshaw. Even if you don't buy a thing, though you probably won't be able to help yourself, it's like taking a free trip to a pleasant zen garden or a walk through a museum. It's truly lovely a lovely place to take a stroll and amuse yourself.

I only live a few cities away- I think I will check this place out. I'm a big fan of Egan Shiele also.
