What's Easter
He died for our sins
He lifted on the third day
He proved that death can be beatened
And life is fruitful in every way.
The egg symbolizes a new life emerging
The bunny is a sign of fertility
He died only to become new
And live for eternity.
Easter's a holiday that has no meaning
We dress up, buy baskets, and paint eggs
But do we give thanks for His resurrection
It's something we should do with our kids while their in their beds.
I hunt for new beginnings,
new life, and acceptance.
I speak my thanks for his sacrifice
That's what Easter means.
