What's the Fiat 500 Abarth Model Saying?
The 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth Debuts as a Sexy Supermodel Catrinel Menghia, but What's She Saying?
Chances are you've seen it by now, but if you haven't, the commercial making the rounds at YouTube and on practically every auto blog in the world for the new 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth is definitely worth checking out. It starts out innocently enough, as a goofy-looking fellow makes his way down the street, coffee in hand, when he stops, wide-eyed. In the street is a stunningly exotic Italian supermodel, one Catrinel Menghia, bent over in a (somewhat) compromising position in her black and red dress. A sound slap and a little seduction later, you see that the dark-haired beauty is actually the 2012 Fiat Abarth, in all its sensual glory, with a goofball steaming up her window.
Supermodel Catrinel Menghia
The model, Catrinel Menghia, perfectly exemplifies the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth. It's different from what we usually see in the United States. Sure, we have small cars and gorgeous girls, but there's something different about this one- in all ways, the car, and she, exemplify the sort of exotic sex appeal that the Italians seem to have such a great grasp on.
Backed up by the song "Smokescreen" by the band "Willis," our goofy protagonist stares in awe as Catrinel Menghia slaps him around, woos him with her sultry voice, and finally reveals herself.
What is the Fiat 500 Abarth girl saying?
He stops admiringly, but is caught looking. Sheepishly, he looks away, and she says,
"What are you looking at?" she grunts in exasperation and storms up to the sidewalk, as though tired of the constant unwanted attention she has received, and this little boy is the last straw.
"What are you looking at!" she says again, and her hand connects to his cheek in a sharp slap. "Are you undressing me with your eyes?" she demands.
Then, coyly, the mood shifts.
"Poor guy...you can't help it." She pulls his tie and draws the obviously confused and now shocked onlooker closer.
"Is your heart beating?" she asks, "Is your head spinning?" She whispers. He nods, under her seductive spell. "Do you feel lost thinking that I could be yours forever?"
A dollop of foam lands playfully on her chest, and he leans in for a kiss, then realizes that he's staring into the passenger window of the new 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth.
The 2012 Fiat 500
Re-entering the American marketplace for the first time since the 1980s, The Fiat 500 answers the call for a small car that's easily maneuverable in city traffic and attains great gas mileage without all the added expense of a hybrid powertrain. The Fiat 500 Abarth features a more powerful engine than the stock, almost pitiful 1.4L 101-horsepower four-cylinder Fiat 500 engine, providing drivers with 160 turbocharged horsepower to play with.
Motor Trend recently tested the new Fiat 500, proclaiming it a competent and fun little car that has plenty to like in spite of its mediocre horsepower figures. Imagine squeezing nearly 2/3 more horsepower into that same package, and what you've got is nothing less than a little road-going rocket. Catrinel Menghia, indeed.
2012 Fiat 500 Abarth Pricing
The 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth is priced from around $19,500 to $21,500 and is planned for release in March 2012. There are two color options available for the Abarth, black and white, but no, Catrinel Menghia is not optional equipment. Her husband would no doubt have something far less sultry to say about that.

Post a CommentCatrinel Menghia is Romanian, not Italian.
Anyone know what brand dress she's wearing?
