What's it like inside my head?
There always is a thought.
Ideas of what people think
are normal, really not?
There always is a thought.
Ideas of what people think
are normal, really not?
Everyday life,
the ups and downs.
It's almost like
a merry-go-round.
In life what's normal
for those to see?
It is you
or is it me?
Oh what I feel
it is so sad
Again I feel
so very mad.
I want to fit in
I want to please
but normal to me
is just a tease
Life keeps on going
round and round
As I just sit here
not safe, not sound.
I see the doctors
I take my pills
but life to me
is just rolling hills.
To me it's people
that seem so cruel
but then there are those
in kindness too.
What's it like inside my head?
There always is a thought.
Ideas of what people think
are normal, really not?
