What's so Magical About Publishing 200 Articles on Associated Content?

Page View Bonus is a Huge Key to Skyrocketing Your Clout Index

Tim Decker
When you're first getting started you become instantly glued to your daily page view status and clout index. Each article you publish you will likely see a slight boost in your daily page views which is awesome to see. If you start looking at how to maximize your pay out per 1000 page views you need to get your clout up as fast as you can.

The clout index webpage the publish the following examples

"Index = Total number of page views PLUS a 1% bonus for each published submission (max bonus = 200%). Example: A user with 5 published submissions and 6,000 total views has an index of 6,300 (6,000 views + 5% of 6,000), which translates to a Clout Level of 5.

PPM = Payment Per Thousand Page Views ("M" being the Roman numeral for one thousand). It is the rate we will pay you for every thousand (1,000) page views your content generates.

**Calculated by adding the PPM bonus to the current baseline PPM rate of $1.50, which is subject to change. For example, today a user with 50,000 monthly page views and a Clout Level of 8 will receive $80.00 ($1.60 x 50)."

The part that most people miss at least at first is the 1% bonus for each published submission. So you don't actually need 1 million page views to get to a clout level of 10. You really only need 1/3 of the index value in page views if you get 200 articles submitted. 333,334 page view with 200 articles gets you over 1 million on the index and placed at a clout level of 10.

This will seem like it's impossible when you're first getting started. So you might want to focus on attaining clout level 7 and at least 200 published articles as quickly as you can. That means 16,667 page views and 200 articles will get you to clout level of 7. This shouldn't seem that difficult when you consider most articles get on average of 2-5 page views per day. With 200 published articles you should be getting 400-1000 page views in a single day. It should take you about a month or less to get your 16,667 page views. This will earn you your first raise as you move from $1.50 per 1000 page views up to $1.55 per thousand page views. This may not seem like much but any raise is much better than nothing and it can quickly add up as you continue to publish more articles.

This same strategy will move you on to higher levels as you publish another 200 articles and you page views per day raise even more. This will make up one third of your clout index value as you rocket up the chart.

Of course, as Rosa said there are other factors that will help clout increase faster, such as high-performing articles. This is a good explanation of the basics for those new to AC. I strongly recommend that all online article writers learn SEO. Even some basic simple tips can go a long way toward earning more page views. :-)

I have 1 article that is drastically out performing the rest of mine. It's getting 75-100 pv per day. So understand that if you hit a home run with every article you won't have to worry about it. For the rest of us who are just starting out getting a good understanding of the rules we're playing under can go a long way. Knowing what to focus on and what doesn't matter.

This all really depends on the content that is published. If you use an excellent amount of SEO throughout your articles then it really doesn't matter how many articles you publish since you will be moving up pretty quickly. I have seen those who only have a few published articles and they already have a high clout due to what they publish and the SEO. Yah, they may get more money for more articles that they publish since you can get the 1% bonus but this really isn't going to matter if your articles aren't being read in the first place.
